You ask a lot of very good questions that need answers. Our answer 7 years ago was to change systems for our children but to keep working in the system ourselves to do our best to make it better. Some might read this and say what the? But for us, our kids thrived in a different system. Would they have thrived in the same one as we work in, we'll never know. Daily we said to ourselves, "we're doing the right thing for our kids" We did see huge differences in the systems. I could write a large list. Thanks for your post. You're always asking good questions that make me think.

Indeed - Forgrave: get in there!

Really appreciate the momentum you've lent the course so far, Colin! Other than the joy that comes from playing music *with* people, the fraternity of guitar playing that has sprung up around our little blog has been awesome so far... and it's only begun.

Looking forward to seeing what we do in the next few months.

I'm hoping to get an intro posted later this afternoon, Colin! Agreed on the motivation aspect. I've been essentially plunking away at one guitar piece for a year now, and my boys are setting a rapidly increasing pace around here. Hope we can connect and jam some weekend!

Nice post Colin. It sounds as though we've had similar experiences. When my son was born 5 years ago I posted a photo of him everyday. The goal was to post for a year. I did end up going beyond that first year but eventually stopped mostly because I too grew tired of the uploading/editing workflow. I decided to start a 365 project this year and the process is much simpler with the different options that are available.

Good luck. I look forward to following your progress.
